Early Life of Sairee Chahal
Sairee Chahal’s academic journey is an inspiring story of determination and dedication to learning. After completing her primary education in Muzaffarnagar, she moved to Delhi to pursue higher studies. She enrolled in Jawaharlal Nehru University, one of India’s most prestigious universities, where she completed her M. Phil in International Studies.
Chahal’s academic background in International Studies provided her with a solid foundation in global affairs and helped her develop a strong understanding of international markets and cross-cultural communication. However, she realized that she wanted to pursue a career in business and entrepreneurship, and thus, she decided to enroll in the Institute of Management Technology in Ghaziabad.
Her PGDBM program helped her gain the skills and knowledge to start her own business and become an entrepreneur. After completing her studies, she worked in various corporate roles before founding her own company, Newslink Services, which eventually led to the creation of SHEROES.
Sairee Chahal began her career as a journalist with Advertising & Marketing magazine, where she honed her writing and communication skills. However, she quickly moved on to set up the world’s first daily newspaper for mariners, called Mariner’s Time. This experience allowed her to develop her entrepreneurial skills and taught her the importance of identifying and filling gaps in the market.

- Mahila Money: Founded by Chahal, Mahila Money is a digital platform that provides small loans to women micro-entrepreneurs in India.
