Kumar Venkatasubramanian Joins Procter & Gamble India as CEO

Procter & Gamble India has announced the appointment of Kumar Venkatasubramanian as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective May 1, 2024. Kumar will succeed LV Vaidyanathan, who has dedicated 28 years of service to P&G.

Kumar Venkatasubramanian- A Familiar Face Takes the Helm

Venkatasubramanian is an alumnus of IIM Calcutta and began his career at P&G India in the sales team in 2000. He brings nearly 24 years of experience to the role, with the majority of that time spent in various sales functions within India.

Most recently, Venkatasubramanian has served as CEO of P&G’s business in Australia and New Zealand. There, he led the team to achieve record metrics through category growth and strong partnerships with retailers.
