Kabita Singh began her career by working as a liability desk officer at the ICICI Bank’s Uttar Pradesh branch in India, where she stayed for a total of three years.
She left ICICI Bank after three years due to some personal reasons and was immediately hired by IL& FS as a relationship manager and by “MICROSEC CAPITAL LIMITED” as a dealer. Additionally, she spent some time working in the stock market too.
She left “MICROSEC CAPITAL LIMITED” after six months and joined HSBC Bank as a desk officer, where she worked for three months.
She married Manish Singh, a software engineer, in 2009. Manish, who had previously worked in London for the United Kingdom. She relocated to London, UK, for her husband’s career after quitting her previous position.
Food blogger cum YouTuber:
After relocating to London, United Kingdom, she was unable to consume Indian food there, so she began cooking Indian food at home after seeing YouTube videos.
They spent 4-5 years in London before returning to India, and this time, Kabita chose not to work in order to enjoy her children’s youth and spend more time with them.
When her kids started school, she began creating cooking videos on YouTube in her spare time. She had no prior experience creating a food blog because of her occupation in the financial industry.
After a few months, her YouTube channel received positive feedback from her subscribers, and she ascended to become one of the most well-known YouTube chefs in India.
In addition to YouTube, she also manages and writes a food blog and posts information about her recipes on her website, Kavitas Kitchen.
When Kabita initially started her YouTube channel, creating beautiful dishes was only a hobby. Today, however, it is her full-time career.
