Swiggy Dineout Launches Its First Ad Featuring Farhan Akhtar and Shibani Dandekar

Swiggy has recently launched its first advertisement featuring newlyweds Farhan Akhtar and Shibani Dandekar. Titled ‘Go Out with Swiggy Dineout’, the ad highlights the convenience of being able to book restaurants online with Swiggy’s latest offering.

The ad starts with Shibani Dandekar suggesting to Farhan Akhtar that they should go out for dinner. Farhan Akhtar, however, is adamant about using Swiggy. After a brief back and forth, the driver intervenes and suggests they use Swiggy’s new offering, Swiggy Dineout, to book restaurants online.

Farhan Akhtar and Shibani Dandekar were the perfect choices for Swiggy Dineout’s first advertisement campaign. As newlyweds, the couple perfectly portrays the convenience and ease of booking restaurants online through Swiggy’s latest offering.

The couple’s influence on social media is unparalleled. Farhan Akhtar is one of Bollywood’s leading actors with a massive fan following, while Shibani Dandekar is a popular model and actress. The couple’s chemistry also adds to the charm of the ad. Swiggy Dineout is an integration of Swiggy’s online restaurant booking platform, which was acquired by the platform in May 2022. On collaboration Ankit Mehrotra, Co-founder, of Dineout, stated, “With this integration, Dineout’s offering will be more accessible than ever before and available to a larger Swiggy user base across the 24 cities. We are certain that our combined efforts will help create a seamless experience for all Swiggy users and significant savings on their dining-out expenses.”

The 24 cities include Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Pune, Chennai, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Kolkata, Chandigarh, Jaipur, Indore, Lucknow, Ludhiana, Nagpur, Goa (North and South), Kochi, Surat, Agra, Udaipur and Vadodara. 

The integration of Swiggy Dineout will enable all Swiggy users to choose from various of dining out options and can avail of discounts at 18,000+ restaurants across the 24 cities. Users can even avail of up to 40% discounts on their dining bills with an additional 15% off using their HDFC Bank Credit Cards at popular restaurants chains across the nation, from brands like Marriott, Leela, Mainland China, Punjab Grill, Farzi Cafe, among others.

Additionally, swiggy members will even enjoy the benefits of their membership now across Dineout, food delivery, Instamart, Genie and more. They will get additional discounts and access to exclusive premium restaurants on Dineout, along with other perks like unlimited free deliveries and exclusive member-only discounts up to 30% off on food & grocery deliveries.
