Yashraj Mukhate’s Latest Hit is All About the Chizza Comeback

It all started back in 2015 when KFC India introduced the Chizza. A dish of fried chicken topped with cheese, spicy sauce, vegetables, and herbs, the Chizza was a hit among Indian foodies – but only for a limited time. After a few years, the Chizza was pulled from the market and its fans were left wanting more.

However, recently there was a glimmer of hope when KFC India released a new ad announcing Chizza’s comeback. 

But to really amp up the launch, KFC India went one step further and roped in internet music sensation Yashraj Mukhate to create a track that captures the feelings of all the Chizza fans who had been eagerly awaiting its return.

The result? Yashraj Mukhate’s newest track, the Chizza Comments Song! Using fan comments such as “Ae koi toh ye unqil ko bolo ke pehle toh yeh Chizza waaps le aaye.”, “Inn logo ne chikan ko crust bna dya brooo.”, and “My mouth is watering like a sink.”, Yashraj has created a catchy tune that perfectly expresses the excitement of all the Chizza lovers out there. The Chizza Comments Song is produced by Baqsa Productions.

Yashraj even personifies each of the KFC fans in the video with various personas, from the hip-hopper friend to the neighbourhood aunty and many more. The video has already garnered more than three lakh views in less than 48 hours, and it’s not hard to see why.

Speaking about the track and his partnership with KFC India, Yashraj Mukhate said, “Food and Music are my OG loves. And I was one of those fans rooting for the Chizza to come back. Imagine my happiness when it actually happened. I thought I’d commemorate the occasion the way I know best – by singing about it. So here we are! I hope I’ve been able to bring out the emotions of fans like me through the Chizza Comments Song and that people out there enjoy listening to this track as much as I enjoyed working on it.

KFC collaborated with other influencers for Chizza promotion.

KFC partnered with comic influencers like Anubhav Singh Bassi and Danish Sait to help promote Chizza. These influencers created engaging content in their own style to reach their followers and spread the word about KFC’s new menu item- Chizza. The influencers used their humor, wit, and relatability to draw attention to the Chizza and create more interest in the product.

Recently, KFC has partnered with Indian football legend Baichung Bhutia and popular Indian Rapper, Siri, to promote their collaboration with the Hero Indian Super League (ISL). As part of this partnership, KFC has launched the KFC Street Football platform for young football enthusiasts to showcase their talent to a national audience. Bhutia and Siri have been actively involved in the promotion of this platform, encouraging football fans to post online videos of their footwork and freestyle moves.
